a little about me and my process
I’m a self-taught food photographer and life-long baker and cook, passionate about making seasonal food and telling stories through my work. In my early days photographing food I exclusively used artificial light but these days I mostly shoot with natural light - that nuanced glowy feel is magical. Fresh cut flowers and herbs, handmade ceramics, soft linens, and earthy backgrounds pull the image together. My passion for prop collecting, both vintage and new, only adds to my inspiration for creating bespoke images.
On days when I’m not testing recipes or chasing the light, you’ll find me traveling with friends, listening to my favorite music, browsing the local farmers market, and spending time with my cats.
